Activity
Post-Christmas 14-mile circular walk in the Chilterns. Starting in Berkhamsted, we head along the Grand Union Canal to Northchurch, then up to Northchurch Common and the Hertfordshire Way. We then pick up the Ridgeway. We head southeast to Ringshall, around Ashridge College and across Berkhamsted Common and back to Berkhamsted Station. Moderate to fast pace due to limited daylight hours.

By train: London Northwestern Railway to Berkhamsted. By car: 20 miles from central Harrow.
