Activity
A flat 9-mile circular walk. We initially follow the Thames Path, followed by some lesser-known water courses. We will see the castle and the heritage quarter of Windsor on Thames. We end with a stroll down Eton High Street to take in all of the college-related quirkiness.
Refreshments
Lunch at a garden centre cafe with lots of outdoor space if the weather is fine. Eton has several tea rooms after the walk.
Travel
Trains to Windsor from Paddington (via Ealing and Slough) and Waterloo (via Clapham Junction and Richmond). 10:03 service from Waterloo arrives at Windsor and Eton Riverside at 10:59. Paddington service arrives at Windsor Central. 5-minute walk between stations. Chargeable parking at Windsor.
