Activity
Easy 24-mile cycle ride, mainly flat, from Paddington to East London, crossing the river using the newly opened Silvertown Tunnel. Our route takes us along Cycle Way C53 where we will take our first stop at Shadwell Basin to explore the market. Onwards to the Thames Barrier then the tunnel. Then we visit the O2 and on to Greenwich and the Cutty Sark. We then head towards Peckham and a refreshing break at Frank's Cafe, a famous multi-storey car park rooftop venue. We then continue on to the Kia Oval and cross the Thames at Vauxhall before finishing the ride at Hyde Park. For those wishing to stay in Hyde Park for the blinding concert on offer by Stevie Wonder, note that we will be outside the venue so will have limited viewing but perfect listening.
Refreshments
Lots of places on way. Option to bring a packed lunch for the stop in Shadwell Basin. The market has plenty of food outlets.
