Activity

6-mile scenic amble through the grounds of Osterley Park, currently displaying flowers in the Bloom Trail. Walk starts at the 1930's station (historical information on the concourse). We will reach the NT car park at 10:45am to meet the people who drove there, and then can admire the Robert Adam designed Osterley House with its classical entrance facade. Walk takes in the lake, meadows and deer park of this rare surviving country estate within London. Walk includes section of the Grand Union Canal through Hanwell with stops at the impressive Hanwell Flights of six locks and Brunel's engineering marvel of the Three Bridges. NT members can visit the House itself for free, others can visit for the admission price.

Bring packed lunch. Cafe at Osterley Park, pub stop on walk.

Travel

Osterley is on Piccadilly line. Free car park for NT members at Osterley House entrance.
