Activity

Easy 6-mile walk in the heart of the New Forest, easily reached by South West trains from London. The circular walk starts from Brockenhurst which is a very scenic town with many facilities. The walk takes you across grazed lawns and through riverside woodlands before skirting around the edge of the village. It takes in some great heathland views, pretty streams, river and forest. We will find ponies, donkeys and possibly highland cattle on route grazing in the forest. At the end of the walk we will explore the history of Brockenhurst and stop at a country inn for late lunch.

Refreshments

Shops at start, option to bring packed lunch. Lots of tea rooms and pubs at end of walk. Please contact walk leader if booking for lunch as some venues are very busy in high season.
