Dorking to Leatherhead via Box Hill, Mickleham Downs and Mole Valley

Activity

9-mile linear walk from Dorking to Leatherhead. Route takes in the Surrey Hills. Follow the North Downs way over the stepping stones before climbing to the summit of Box Hill. Cross Mickleham Downs before following the Mole Valley trail north to Leatherhead.

Pub stop at historic coaching inn at Mickleham. Tea shop at end. National Trust cafe at Box Hill.

Travel

Train to Dorking via Clapham. You can also get to Clapham from Harrow & Wealdstone or Willeseden Junction Stations. 4 trains each hour. Regular trains back from finish point. If you drive to start there are 4 trains per hour back to start from Leatherhead.
