Activity
8-mile circular walk from Henley on Thames, taking in hills, riverside and Chiltern villages. We will follow riverside with views of islands, manors and a variety of boats passing by. We will reach the hidden village of Hambleden with its timesless quality and welcoming pub. Will pop in for drinks but may not be time to wait for meals. Route in afternoon will take in hills and viewpoints. Time to explore Henley afterwards led by a local guide. Some gentle hills on route.
Refreshments
Cafe at start, lunchtime drinks at pub. Please bring packed lunch. Pubs and tea rooms at end.
Travel
Chargeable parking around start. GWR train departs Ealing at 9:25am, stops at other stations on way. Faster direct trains from Paddington.
