Activity
We have another nostalgia afternoon at the Kew Musical Museum. Donald MacKenzie, the renowned organist from London's Odeon Luxe, Leicester Square, returns to entertain the audience accompanying the 1921 silent film, "Phantom Carriage", chosen for Halloween, directed and starring the leader of Sweden's early golden age of cinema, Victor Sjöström. This ghoulish Swedish film, set on New Year's Eve, was a major influence on Ingmar Berman. Donald MacKenzie will be performing the improvised score on the museum's mighty Wurlitzer.
