Activity
A circular 13-mile route starting from Great Missenden. We will have superb views from Coombe Hill and Beacon Hill there will be open meadows and woody glades. We pass Chequers, the occasional country residence of the prime minister. There are a number of hilly climbs, so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
Refreshments
Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water. There is a farm shop near the halfway point, but no guarantees this will be open. Possible pub or cafe when back in Great Missenden.
Travel
By train: Chiltern Railways from Harrow on the Hill (9:09) arrives 9:40am. Start point is a short walk from station. By car: Free parking at Buryfield Car Park.
