Activity
This 6-mile walk takes in nature reserves in Essex following the River Ingrebourne. From Upminster we walk to Hornchurch Nature Reserve. This reserve is managed by the Essex Wildlife Trust. At the visitor centre there is a cafe and an exhibition of the Hornchurch Aerodrome which was a base of Fighter Command during WW2. We continue to Ingrebourne Nature Reserve, and the walk finishes at Rainham Hall and the Old Stables Cafe.

Travel
Upminster Bridge is on District and C2C lines (change at Upminster). Rainham is on C2C line. Please check websites for unplanned engineering works as C2C line has problems in the area.
