Activity

Our social takes us to Chilfest, a major music festival featuring 80s and 90s acts. Headliner is Adam Ant; the white-striped warrior will be bringing his Ant Music to fans at the Tring festival, celebrating Adam and the Ants' mega back catalogue which saw the band achieve 10 UK Top Ten hits from 1980 to 1983. Another highlight of this year's bill is 80s female legend Kim Wilde, the most charted British female solo act of the 80s, with 17 UK top 40 singles, such as Kids in America, You Keep me Hanging on, You Came, and Chequered Love. Making a welcome return to Chilfest will be New Order and Joy Division legend Peter Hook, Nick Heyward and his band of merry men, Haircut 100, and many other acts (see website). Spinning the decks and providing the crowd with a non-stop party will be celebrated British club DJ, producer and re-mixer, Brandon Block.

Refreshments

Food and drink vendors on site catering, also catering for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free. No picnics allowed but snacks, crisps and sealed soft drinks of 1l are allowed. Please bring chair or picnic blanket.

Travel

Chilfest, Cow Lane, Tring, HP23 5NS. Lots of car parking at festival. Nearest station is Tring (trains from Euston and Harrow and Wealdstone). Shuttle bus service to festival site.

A waiting list means you get informed soonest if a place becomes available, it does not commit you to taking the place but you will need to confirm in a short period of time if you want it.
