This 9 mile walk in the Surrey Hills takes us through farmland, woodls and parkland. We cross the Tillingbourne stream which used to power a number of powder, paper and corn mills. We pass by Little Ford Farmhouse which is a timber framed building dating from the sixteenth century. We will take a slight detour to visit the little English village of Shere where scenes from the Bridget Jones films and others were filmed. Shere has a medieval church, pubs and tea shops. This walk has lots of lovely views, with the final one climbing up St Martha's Hill.
Option to bring packed lunch. Pub stop in Shere.
