Activity

We will start our 6 mile walk at Baker Street station at the statue of Sherlock Holmes and make our way along the fashionable Marylebone High Street to the Wallace Collection. Depending on restrictions at the time we may stop there for coffee or have a look around the house which is normally free. We will then make our way to Marble Arch and be able to see the controversial Marble Arch Mound. Those who wish to can climb and look at the non view! We will be exploring Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens and some of the highlights include Speakers' Corner, the Serpentine and its bridge, the Peter Pan statue, the round pond, the Diana Memorial and Kensington Palace. We will also have an opportunity to stop for our lunch in the wonderful Italian gardens before making our way to the Royal Albert Hall and the memorial. We will continue through the park and make our way towards Green Park and take in the sights of Buckingham Palace and Horseguards. We will make our way to the hidden gem that is Shephards Market for a well deserved beer or coffee near Green Park station.
