Activity
This social event takes us to "Richmond's Answer to Regent's Park Theatre". The Richmond Shakespeare Society takes over the Italian gardens at York House for their ever-popular annual open-air production. This delightful adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved novel plays in the beautiful surroundings of Twickenham's Fountain Gardens this summer. Join us as we whirl back in time to Regency England for comedy, romance and (hopefully) happy endings! The riverside Italian gardens open from 6:00pm for picnics. People can take in the famous statues and fountains which form the backdrop for the drama, and the rest of the gardens, before the play commences at 7:45pm. We are meeting at the entrance to the gardens at 6:30pm. People can arrive later and find us inside.
