This 10 mile linear walk takes in the excellent walking area of the Surrey Hills. The walk takes in a manor house, a medieval village, several National Trust estates and a 13th century pub. We will visit the village of Chiddingford which is where the stained glass industry began in the 13th century. We will have lunch at the stunning Crown Inn, one of the oldest inns in England. Our walk finishes in Haslemere which has many literary connections with late Victorian authors who moved there with the coming of the railway.
Pub lunch, tea shop at end
