A 7 mile walk taking in the villages of Lower Foyle and Well in Hampshire. Lower Foyle is a characterful village that refuses to be trapped in any era. Ancient timbered and thatched cottages sit alongside modern brick properties and a contemporary village hall. We walk past an independent school called Lord Wandsworth College whose former pupils include rugby international star Jonny Wilkinson. We head on into the village of Well and we see the historic covered well which gives the village its name. The walk has several steady climbs and descents.
Event is restricted to 12 participants due to current government guidance. This is based on 2 separate groups of up to 6 participants each, the second group having an assistant leader and following the first group at a short distance. Please book your place using Book Now button below.
Pubs and cafe on route. Recommended to bring pack lunch and water.
By car only. Car park outside the village hall.
