We have booked dorms at YHA Boswinger on the Cornish coast for the Easter break. Boswinger is on the South West Coast Path and is just 3 miles from the stunning Cornish fishing village of Mevagissey. The coastal path takes in miles of beautiful coastline with many hidden beaches and colourful gardens to explore.
Arrival at hostel. We plan an easy walk to go to Dodman Point and Pentewan Sands. We can arrange kayaking at the beach centre. In the evening we have meal back at hostel with Nick's home-made chilli.
We start on our 10 mile walk along the South West Coast Path to Mevagissey via Port Mellon Cove. We will then track back via Galowras Mill to Gorran Church. Option for detours on way to the beaches weather-dependent. Barbecue option back at hostel.
A 10 mile walk is planned to the Lost Gardens of Heligan and back via Caerhays Castle. We will explore Porthlune Cove and other villages on route. Also option for bike ride on Sustrans route 3 (cycle hire at Pentewan).
On the way back we plan a walk around the famous Charlestown Harbour, an unspoilt original listed Cornish harbour. Used for the filming of Poldark it has also featured in Doctor Who and many other films. Option to visit the Eden Project as only 2 miles away.

Lots of options at hostel for breakfast / self catering and evening meals, plenty of options on the walks

Nearest train station is St Austell. Full details on bus options from St Austell to Boswinger and lift share will be provided to those booking.
