Activity

9.5 mile circular walk from Chalfont and Latimer station. This walk passes through woodlands and open countryside with views across the Chess valley. The route first crosses the river Chess at Latimer after which there is a short steep climb up the other side of the valley towards Flaunden. Then following the Chiltern Way footpath towards Sarratt, where we will stop for a pub lunch. After lunch we will then make our way back across to the other side of the Chess valley to Chenies, and then back to the start at Chalfont. If we are lucky with the weather, we should see plenty of bluebells as we pass through the woodlands whilst seeing red kites flying above. Most of the walk is along footpaths which may be wet and muddy.
