Visiting the lovely Langley Park near Iver. We will be doing a 6-8 mile circular walk. The Langley Park estate lies in south Buckinghamshire in the parish of Wexham. It is made up of the historic Langley Park, Black Park and the adjoining Rowley Farm. Langley Park is Grade 2 listed parkland and has a variety of habitats for wildlife, including woodland, heathland and grassland. A variety of wildfowl can be seen on Langley Lake, and the Arboretum has year-round interest. From a royal hunting ground to extravagant pleasure gardens, the park offers great history and features. Martina and her 5 year old son are avid geocachers, and will be incorporating caches with the walk.

Café at the start and end of walk. Option to bring packed lunch. Tea and cakes at end in café.

Free car park next to café. Nearest rail station is Langley, on line from Paddington and Ealing. Start of walk is a 20 minute walk directly north from the station. Car share can be arranged in advance with others going.
