Activity

An 8 mile walk in the Chiltern hills surrounding the Thameside town of Marlow. Homefield Wood hosts a pine plantation as well as mixed broadleaf woodland. There is a diversity of habitat often thronging with bird song, including tawny owls. Fallow, muntjac and roe deer are also regular visitors to the reserve. Walk continues through Pullings Hill Wood which has many claims to fame including featuring inthe 1996 film 101 Dalmatians. We will end the walk with a visit to the famous Royal Oak in Bovingdon Green. The route includes several climbs and descents.

Refreshments

Bring packed lunch. Possible option to buy refreshments on route.

Travel

GWR trains to Marlow from Paddington, Ealing and stations on route. Free parking in nearby streets.
