Easy 5 mile walk through the hidden fields around Harrow Hill and Sudbury Hill. Walk leader has written a lovely Hidden Nature Trail explaining lots of fun facts about how nature impacted the development of Harrow. Starting with the Old School we will admire the historic buildings including the Speech Room and Chapel. We then can take in Byron's View from St Mary's Church. We then descend to the playing fields of Harrow School before crossing into the buttercup meadows to the east. Highland cattle can be seen here, grazing to keep the grass in good order. We will then return to Harrow on the Hill station.
Event is restricted to 12 participants due to current government guidance. This is based on 2 separate groups of up to 6 participants each, the second group having an assistant leader and following the first group at a short distance. Please book your place using Book Now button below.
Please bring packed lunch. We may also stop in a café.
Nearest station is Harrow on the Hill on the Metropolitan line. Limited free parking in nearby streets.
