Activity
This 5 mile walk starts at Golders Green and then enters Golders Hill Park heading for the Hill Garden and the magnificent Edwardian pergola. This park has fine views east and north. We then follow the path into the western part of Hampstead Heath and make our way to Kenwood house set on the northern side of the heath. At Kenwood there will be an opportunity for refreshments and a look around this wonderful stately home which was built in the 17th Century. We then make our way across the Heath (superb views from Parliament Hill) and go past some of the famous bathing pools. We will end the walk at the scenic and historic Hampstead village where there are many pubs and tea shops to stop. The terrain is mostly easy and we will try and stick to the paths where possible, however there are some inclines and steps and it can get muddy so please wear suitable footwear.
Refreshments
Tea shop at Kenwood House, pubs and cafes in Hampstead High street at the end of the walk
