Activity
We will be taking a leisurely 8-mile walk with a spring in our step stopping at Wimbledon Park Lake and the All England Tennis Club heading on to Wimbledon Common and a visit to its famous windmill. Here we will be a cafe stop. We continue on to Richmond Park to visit the Isabella Plantation with its amazing colourful display of rhododendrons, azaleas and bluebells. Another short cafe break before ambling on to Wimbledon Common again for a Womble on towards Wimbledon Village and a thirsty walkers pub.
Refreshments
Two tea stops and pub at the end. Bring a packed lunch (optional).
Travel
Start point 10 minutes' walk from Wimbledon Park Station. Both stations are on District line. Chargeable parking near each station.
