Activity
An undulating 13.5 mile circular walk from Chalfont and Latimer station. We will cross the river Chess twice and follow a section of the Chess Valley Walk towards Chesham before heading away from the valley to Ley Hill, skirting Flaunden and Sarratt then crossing the Chess again on our way to Chenies and back to Little Chalfont. On our way we will pass Latimer House, briefly enter the ancient Cowcroft Wood, cross Ley Hill common, are almost guaranteed to see red kites and plenty of butterflies, walk through the very well kept graveyard of Holy Cross Church, Sarratt which dates back to 1190 and visit the chocolate box village of Chenies where we will pass Chenies Manor. There will be some short stiff climbs and descents plus a couple of stiles.

Please bring a packed lunch. We will stop at the Cock Inn after lunch for a drink in the garden. Metropolitan Bar and Coffee Shop at end of walk.
