Activity
A 16 mile circular walk, where we will be following another section of the Shakespeare's Way, a long distance footpath that runs from Stratford upon Avon to London. From our start point we will make our way through the town of Marlow and then across Marlow Common before dropping down into the village of Hambleden. We will then make our way uphill into Great Wood where at Lower Woodend we will leave Shakespeare's Way for our return journey and head off towards the River Thames, where we then pick up the Thames Path all the way back to Marlow. The first 6 miles of this walk does have some steep hills into and out of Hambleden but the return leg of our journey is all downhill.
