Hall Evening: Art Exhibition and Talk

Thu Apr 20th

Free to members, prospective members and Meetup attendees

This evening one of our new recruits, Jessica, who is a local artist is arranging an exhibition of some of her works. There will be a mixture of oil, watercolours and linocuts. Many feature local landscapes and notable views. Jessica also creates greeting cards and gifts featuring art works. She also arranges classes on watercolour painting and drawing skills. During the evening Jessica will outline some of the background on the works displayed and explain about the classes offered and answer any questions.

During the evening we will also have displays and information about our forthcoming events. We venture out away from London to the countryside, fresh air, quiet, views, wildlife, maybe hills, valleys, woods and mountains. All over the UK to the Lakes, Peaks, Dales, Beacons etc. Last year we averaged 2 trips away each month along with many local day walks to the Chilterns. Activities may be easy, moderate or more challenging - something for everyone. Get involved and make friends getting outdoors and active.

And don't forget to join our free email group to get first and latest details of our events and our weekly email detailing forthcoming events.

If you require any more information then please email us. No need to book in advance, bring anyone else interested, we look forward to meeting you.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and occasionally cake are available free of charge on the evening
