Ewelme, Berrick Salome, Newington and Brightwell Baldwin

Activity

A 14-mile circular walk starting from Ewelme in Oxfordshire. Go north toward Berrick Salome and Newington, then east picking up the Shakespear's Way, then south to Brightwell Baldwin and back to Ewelme. The terrain is mainly flat with gentle gradients and fine views over the Oxfordshire countryside.

Travel

By car only. North on the M40 from London, leave at junction 6. Go left onto the B4009 towards Watlington, keeping on the B4009 you will come to a T junction, go right toward Britwell Salome on the B4009. Pass through Britwell Salome, keep going for around 1.5 miles, then look for a left turn signposted Ewelme. As you approach Ewelme look for a left turn onto Parson's Lane, you will also see a signpost for the church. The car park is at the end of the lane, beyond the church.
