Chesham to Great Missenden

Activity

10-mile U-shaped walk through the Chilterns via Lee Common. The walk leads us through mini-woodland and gorgeous open fields. Depending on the weather the walk can be muddy. One steep ascent and a few downhills.

Refreshments

Bring snacks and packed lunch to enjoy on the common in front of the Cock & Rabbit Inn pub in the charming village called The Lee. If not too busy the pub serves delicious Italian fare.

Travel

By train: Metropolitan line to Chesham Station. By car: Leave car at Chalfont and Latimer Station car park, postcode HP7 9PR (£1.50 all day on Sundays). Take train one stop to Chesham Station. On return take train two stops back to car.
