10-mile linear walk, takes in a manor house, a medieval village, several National Trust estates and a 13th century pub. Visit the village of Chiddingford which is where the stained glass industry began in the 13th century. Walk finishes in Haslemere which has many literary connections with late Victorian authors who moved there with the coming of the railway.
