Activity

9-mile linear walk from Dorking to Leatherhead. Route takes in the stunning autumn colours of the Surrey Hills. Follow the North Downs way over the stepping stones before climbing to the summit of Box Hill. Cross Mickleham Downs before pub stop at Running Horses inn at very scenic village of Mickleham. Route then follows the Mole Valley trail north to Leatherhead.

Refreshments

Pub stop at historic coaching inn at Mickleham. Tea shop at end. National Trust cafe at Box Hill.

Travel

Train to Dorking via Clapham. You can also catch direct train from Victoria or via Harrow & Wealdstone (change at Clapham) if more convenient. Regular trains back from finish point. If you drive to start there are 4 trains per hour back to start from Leatherhead.
