Activity
This 12-mile walk explores Hayes, Yiewsley, Cowley and Uxbridge. Starting with a brief canter through Minet Country Park in North Hayes, we then we head south. We join the Grand Union Canal, doing a brief hop of Stockley Pines Golf Course. We discover something of the Cowley Stock, a brick trail from 1814. Walking along part of the River Colne at Yiewsley Ford then taking in the views of Yiewsley Moor, and Little Britain Lake, and onwards to Uxbridge Moor. This is a moderate walk with predominantly level pathways and grassed / woodland paths. Due to recent heavy rains, we will experience several muddy paths on latter half of walk.
